AWESOME!!! loved Viv from the start, as soon as she sung Sweet Transvestite from Rocky Horror I wanted more Viv!
This book NEEDS a soundtrack ASAP, the music throughout is brilliant, from RHPS to Greenday to The Wurzels Combine Harvester, it was fantastic.
Never before have I been so animated whilst reading a book; gasp of surprise, hand clasped over my mouth in shock at the slap, hysterical laughter, tears, swearing with or at the characters... only a great book can achieve that!
Story a little bit predictable at times, but made up for it with originality (drag queens, gay scene, etc)
great fun read, although it did make me cry when Viv sang I Don't Care Much from Caberet & Fred bolted.
